How to replace the activated carbon filter cartridge (CB filter) in the Robust 90 filtration system?
Regularly replace the filter cartridge according to the purple or red light of the corresponding replacement filter life indicator or the indicator on the faucet.
The system is equipped with FAST&DRY technology, which allows for filter replacement without the need to interrupt the water supply. For added safety, however, we recommend closing the water supply during the replacement.
Before replacing the filter cartridge, follow the procedure below:
- Rotate the CB filter counterclockwise.
- Pull the used filter towards you.
- Insert the new filter into the appropriate housing so that the handle is in a horizontal position.
- Insert the cartridge all the way in and turn the handle 90° clockwise.
- Reset the filter: press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds. A sound signal will be heard (1 second), the lifetime indicator will blink purple twice, and then it will light up blue.
- The system automatically initiates the flushing of the CF and RO filters (it takes 5–6 minutes), and the indicator light blinks red during this time.
- After this flushing, it is necessary to manually complete the flushing of the RO and CB filters – open the clean water valve. The indicator light and the indicator on the valve will blink in color according to the current water quality.
- Flushing takes:
- RO filter: approximately 30 minutes
- CB filter: approximately 15 minutes
- After the flushing is complete, the indicator light and the indicator on the valve will light up blue, which means that the system is ready for use.
