The Ecosoft SCALEX filter is designed exclusively for use with cold tap water. For best results, vertical installation is recommended.
The lifespan of the filter is 20,000 liters or 6 months of use.
However, tap water often contains various impurities, such as sand, iron, and organic substances. Over time, these impurities can clog the filtration medium, preventing the release of active ingredients that combat the buildup of limescale in the water. Why replacement is important: Tap water may contain impurities (sand, iron, organic substances) that can reduce the effectiveness of releasing active ingredients into the water over time. Therefore, we recommend replacing the cartridge every 6 months to ensure continuous protection.
Before first use: Rinse the filter with water for 2–5 minutes to remove any residual particles.
