Installation and maintenance
The Ecosoft SCALEX washing filter is designed exclusively for use with cold tap water. For best results, vertical installation is recommended.
Recommended media replacement: approximately after 20,000 liters or 400 wash cycles, practically often about once a year (depending on water and usage).
Why replacement is important: Tap water may contain impurities (sand, iron, organic substances) that can reduce the effectiveness of releasing active ingredients into the water over time. Therefore, we recommend replacing the cartridge every 6 months to ensure continuous protection.
Before first use: Rinse the filter with water for 2–5 minutes to remove any residual particles
