Use BigBlue 10" filter housing
- as a pre-filter before the softening device to protect it from mechanical impurities (sand, gravel, rust, clay, mud, etc.)
- for carbon filtration (for the removal of chlorine and its compounds, or to improve the taste and odor of water)
- or also separately with various inserts* measuring 10 x 4.5"
*Since the filter has a diameter of 4" - compared to other 10-inch filters - it has a larger filtration area, which results in a lower pressure drop.
The BigBlue 10" filter housing is compatible with multiple types of filter cartridges.
- sedimentation filter cartridges made of molded or wound polypropylene (PP)
