Cintropur UV 4100 je UV lampa na dezinfekciu vody, ktorá spoľahlivo zneškodňuje baktérie a vírusy pomocou UV-C žiarenia. Je to nový model priamo od belgického výrobcu Cintropur – s robustnou európskou konštrukciou, kvalitnou UV lampou (Philips) a minimálnou údržbou: raz ročne vymeníte žiarič a máte pokoj.
Compared to the Cintropur 2100, the Cintropur 4100 offers higher performance (40 W) and is suitable for increased water consumption or where you want a greater flow reserve.

How the Cintropur 4100 UV lamp works
Voda preteká UV reaktorom okolo UV-C žiariča umiestneného v ochrannej kremennej trubici. Vnútro tvorí leštený nerezový valec, ktorý UV žiarenie odráža, aby bol účinok ešte vyšší. UV-C žiarenie s vlnovou dĺžkou 253,7 nm narúša DNA mikroorganizmov a bráni im v rozmnožovaní – tým ich účinne zneškodní.
UV dezinfekcia je ekologická metóda: do vody nepridáva nič „navyše“ a nemení jej fyzikálno-chemické vlastnosti.

In practice, it always holds true: the more turbid the water is or the more iron/manganese it contains, the more the effectiveness of UV can decrease. Therefore, it is important to properly set up pre-filtration and flow rate.

Recommended pre-filtration
It is recommended to have mechanical filtration of at least 25 microns, ideally 5 µm, before the UV lamp. The reason is simple: turbidity and impurities can "shade" UV radiation and reduce the effectiveness of disinfection.
