Cintropur UV 2100, UV lampa na dezinfekciu vody
Catalog code: 2100
Cintropur UV 2100 is a UV lamp for water disinfection that reliably eliminates bacteria and viruses using UV-C radiation. It is a new model directly from the Belgian manufacturer Cintropur – featuring a robust European design, a high-quality UV lamp (Philips), and minimal maintenance: you replace the bulb once a year and you're good to go.
Why choose her
- Chlorine-free disinfection – no chemicals, no by-products
- It does not change the taste or composition of the water – UV only neutralizes microorganisms
- Simple maintenance – replace the bulb once a year (the rest is hassle-free)
- Quality construction Cintropur – stainless steel reflector, quartz tube, Belgian manufacturing
- Excellent compatibility – ideal for the mechanical and carbon filter Cintropur (e.g., NW25)
- Quick effect – disinfection occurs during flow through the UV chamber
How UV lamp works
Water flows through the UV reactor around a UV-C emitter placed in a quartz tube. The interior consists of a polished stainless steel cylinder that reflects UV radiation to enhance the effect. UV-C radiation with a wavelength of 253.7 nm disrupts the DNA of microorganisms and prevents them from reproducing – effectively neutralizing them.
UV disinfection is an ecological method: it does not add anything "extra" to the water and does not change its physical-chemical properties.
Flow and power – what is important to know
- The UV lamp has a power of 25 W.
- At the standard specified dose of 40 mJ/cm², the recommended nominal flow rate is approximately 1.1 m³/h.
- The maximum flow is approximately stated to be up to 1.7 m³/h (depending on conditions).
- In practice, it is often stated as "flow rate up to 2.0 m³/h" – however, the actual safe flow rate always depends on the required UV dose and the quality of the water (turbidity/iron/manganese).
If you want, we will adjust the design so that the UV lamp operates in the correct mode according to your water and consumption.
Recommended pre-filtration
It is recommended to have mechanical filtration of at least 25 microns, ideally 5 μm, before the UV lamp. The reason is simple: turbidity and impurities can "shade" UV radiation and reduce the effectiveness of disinfection.
Maintenance and service
- Replacement of UV lamp: once a year (effectiveness is approximately 12 months).
- The exchange is handled by a bayonet system – it is quick and easy.
- Quartz tube: the manufacturer recommends changing it a maximum of once every 5 years or according to contamination. (In our terminology: replacement quartz tube.)
